Ball Bearings

Ball bearings, renowned for their simplicity and versatility, are widely used in diverse applications. They are classified into radial and thrust ball bearings based on their primary load-carrying direction.

Radial ball bearings are primarily designed to carry load in the radial direction. However, their design allows them to support significant axial load in addition to radial load. The inner and outer rings feature raceway grooves that closely conform to the balls.

On the other hand, thrust ball bearings are designed to carry load in the axial direction without any radial load capacity. Their rings feature raceway grooves on the opposing faces that closely conform to the balls.
